401(k) SERVICES | Investment Analysis

As a plan's Fiduciary, it is extremely important to monitor your plans investments on a regular basis.  Our firm will help you through this process by obtaining reports from your vendor and independent mutual fund rating services, like Morningstar.  Athough this process can be quite simple when we help you manage it, taking these steps are critical to your role as a fiduciary and to the retirement goals of your employees.

As a general rule, plan sponsors should look at their fund's investment performance on a year-to-date, one year, three year, five year and since inception basis.  Each of the funds in the plan should then be compared to their appropriate index based on the funds' investment style class.  An example of an index is the S&P 500, but there are literally dozens that should be considered.    All Indices are unmanaged and are not available for direct investment by the public.  Of course, past performance is not indicative of future results.  The S & P 500 is based on the average performance of the 500 industrial stocks monitored by Standard & Poor's.   We will help you compare to the right index to target the retirement goals of your plan.

The expertise of our Financial Services Division will help to ensure that your plan strives to pursue your expectations and your expenses are kept in check.
